Three Corfu houses with a pool — and they are not the same pool
People ask for “a villa with a pool” as if that were one kind of house. We let three, and you should pick by the pool you actually want, not by the word.
Villa Agni is the one that matches the request: a 1920s house above Agni Bay, private pool, sleeps 5. The beach tavernas are a walk down. The walk back is uphill, and there are steps at the house.
Lavender Cottage in Skripero has a very small pool in the garden. It is for cooling off after a drive, not for lengths. The village is inland, on the road toward Paleokastritsa, about ten minutes from beaches on either coast. Sleeps 4.
Myrtle Blue is an apartment for two on the hill above Dassia, with a pool and a large balcony toward the sea. The long beach is below. A bus runs into Corfu Town, so this is the stay where a car is optional.

Villa Agni
A 1920s house above Agni Bay, restored in the 1990s. Private pool, three levels, thick stone walls downstairs. Sleeps 5. There are steps, and the walk back from the beach is uphill.
Lavender Cottage
Lavender Cottage, Skripero: an old two-storey house on the hillside, sleeps 4. A swimming pool in the garden. Beaches on either coast are about ten minutes by car.
Good to know
- If a pool is the point of the week, do not book a house in Ano Korakiana. None of them have one — including Lily’s House.
- Say the size out loud before you pay for Lavender: very small.
- Villa Agni is a poor fit if anyone in the party has trouble with hills.

Which Corfu cottage has a private pool? Villa Agni, above Agni Bay. It sleeps 5. Lavender Cottage’s pool is in the garden and is very small. Myrtle Blue, above Dassia, also has a pool and sleeps 2.
Is there a family house with a pool that sleeps 6? No. The houses that sleep 6 are in Ano Korakiana and do not have pools. Villa Agni sleeps 5 with a private pool. Lavender Cottage sleeps 4 with a very small garden pool.
Can I swim in the sea as well? From Villa Agni you walk down to Agni Bay. From Myrtle Blue the Dassia beach is below the hill. From Lavender Cottage in Skripero the sea is about ten minutes by car, on either coast.
