Corfu houses that sleep six
Six of the houses take six people. Five of them are in Ano Korakiana, which is why families end up there. Children walk to the primary school, the philharmonic still rehearses, two bakeries open early, and nobody is selling boat trips on the lane. You are not on a beach. You drive to one — about fifteen minutes to either coast, about twenty-five minutes to Corfu Town.
Korakiana Cottage, Youkali Home, White Jasmine and Lily’s House are let for six. St. George Cottage takes four to six. Harmony House can be two people and still has room for six. One bathroom at Korakiana Cottage is the detail to notice before a family of six books it.

Korakiana Cottage
A 200-year-old stone cottage in the centre of Ano Korakiana. Sleeps 6, one bathroom, private garden. The old details were left in place.
St. George Cottage
Newly renovated house in Ano Korakiana for 4 to 6. Large balcony toward the hills and the sea, air conditioning, bakery nearby. Parking is a few steps down. A car helps.
Youkali Home
Five minutes uphill from Ano Korakiana: a newer house for six, with a shaded balcony over olive groves and cypress. Child kit on request, no charge.
White Jasmine Cottage
A floor of Russian pine, antique art, a library. White Jasmine is a 200-year house at the top of Ano Korakiana, sleeps 6, private garden terrace. The walk from the car is steep.
Harmony House
On the heights of Ano Korakiana. The terrace looks over roofs, olives, sea and mountains. Sleeps 2 to 6. Cooler up here than on the coast, which is what guests write about.
Lily's House
Lily's House, Ano Korakiana: three bedrooms, sleeps 6, terrace and kitchen, parking in front. Bakery and kafeneio in the village. The sea is a short drive. No pool.
Good to know
- White Jasmine is a 200-year house with Russian pine floors and a library. The walk up from the parking is steep — awkward with a pushchair, or if anyone struggles on hills.
- Youkali is five minutes uphill from the village, a newer house. We can put in kit for younger children, free, if you ask.
- None of these have a pool. For a pool, look at Villa Agni (sleeps 5, not 6) or Lavender Cottage (sleeps 4, and the pool is very small).
- A car is part of staying in the village. Dassia is the place we let where the bus is enough, and that apartment sleeps two.
Straight answers
Where should a family stay in Corfu if we want a village, not a resort? Ano Korakiana. Five of our houses for six are there, about 15 km north of Corfu Town. Both coasts are about fifteen minutes by car.
Do the family cottages have a pool? No. The six-person houses are in the village and do not have pools. Villa Agni has a private pool and sleeps 5. Lavender Cottage in Skripero sleeps 4 and has a very small garden pool.
Is one bathroom enough for six at Korakiana Cottage? It is one bathroom. Families do book it — it is a 200-year stone house with a private garden — but if two bathrooms matter, look at Youkali, White Jasmine or Lily’s House.
