Corfu, the whole island
Johannes Hofmann is a civil engineer for the island of Corfu, not for a single resort. Studies and visits cover Corfu Town, the coastline, and the inland villages, wherever the house or the plot is.
Town
Corfu Town and the near south
The town, Garitsa, Kanoni, and the edges toward Benitses hold many older houses: stone, later concrete, and flats in more recent blocks. A study here is often an alteration of something already standing, with neighbours close and access tight. That changes how a new opening or a new floor can be built, and it belongs in the first description you send.
Coast
North, west, and south
Work is taken along the northeast and north, including Kontokali, Gouvia, Dassia, Ipsos, Barbati, Nissaki, Kalami, Kassiopi, Acharavi, Roda, Sidari, and Agios Stefanos; on the west, including Paleokastritsa, Liapades, Pelekas, Glyfada, Ermones, and Agios Gordios; and on the southeast and south, including Moraitika, Messonghi, Lefkimmi, and Kavos. Coastal plots are often sloping. Retaining walls, stepped foundations, and pools sit beside the house and have to be designed with it, not after it.
Inland
Villages
Inland villages such as Ano Korakiana, Sokraki, and Spartylas, and the many smaller settlements between them, are mostly stone houses with later additions. The same practice covers them. Name the village in the enquiry. If the plot is outside the settlement plan, say that too, or say that you do not yet know. The permit path depends on it.
A visit is arranged per project. It is not required for a first written reply, which can be based on photographs and any drawings you have. Start from the contact page.
