Additionally, because this is a historic village, there is no direct car access to the front door. The short walk from the parking area is steep and winding, so the property is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Its history dates back to the Byzantine era. Facing south, it opens to panoramic views across Corfu's garden-like landscape and the sea, with whitewashed alleys, flowers, and cats.

By foot, you can reach two bakeries, a mini market, and a cafe. In about ten minutes you can walk to the tiny village of Saint Marko, where you'll find an original Greek tavern with local "moonjuice." Within a 15-minute drive radius, there is everything from seaside restaurants and real Italian pizza to seafood spots, nightlife, village taverns, and fine dining.

The village sits in the central north of Corfu, about 15 km from Corfu Town, making it an excellent starting point to discover the island without crossing major traffic chokepoints. Both the west and east coasts are about a 15-minute drive away, including beloved beaches such as Liapades, Rovinia, and Barbati.

Historically, Ano Korakiana is one of the oldest villages in the Ionian Islands. It is known for its numerous churches, remarkable icons and frescoes, and as a crossroad for writers, poets, painters, and sculptors. Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 14 days will forfeit the deposit. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
